The Thea Method
Understand. Treat. Thrive.
Listen first
Before any assessment or treatment, we take time to truly understand you; your symptoms, your history, your goals, and how your life is being affected day to day.
The pelvic floor is deeply connected to your whole self, physically and emotionally, and we can't understand one without the other. This first conversation matters, and we give it the time it deserves.
Make sense of what’s happening
A thorough, individualised assessment helps us understand the root cause of your symptoms; not just the surface.
We then explain what we find in plain language. Most patients leave their first appointment understanding more about their pelvic health than they have in years. That understanding is part of the treatment. When you know why something is happening, you become an active part of your own recovery.
A plan built around you
Your treatment plan is built specifically for you, shaped around your body, your life stage, and your goals.
It may include hands-on physiotherapy, movement retraining, education, and lifestyle support combined in the way that makes sense for where you are right now. There are often many factors contributing to pelvic symptoms, and that's actually hopeful, because it means there are many things we can work with.
Build lasting confidence
As your symptoms improve, we shift focus toward building your long-term confidence and independence.
The goal isn't to manage symptoms indefinitely. It's for you to feel at ease in your body again - to move, heal, and thrive.
